Thank you so much for your prayers for our upcoming trip to Africa. God is a prayer answering God!! When we asked you to pray just over a week ago, we shared that we had been invited to minister both in West Africa and in Kenya but we were $3,000 short of what was needed just for the airline tickets and the visas. We asked you to pray for God’s perfect will and provision for this trip. He has answered your prayers in a way we did not expect. He confirmed that He was calling us to go to West Africa but directed us to cut Kenya out of our itinerary. As soon as we did that, everything else began to fall into place. Within a hour, God provided what was needed and we were able to buy the airline tickets for our trip to Togo, Benin, and Nigeria. We were able to use the funds on hand to pay for the visas for these three countries and we were able to mail off our applications. Please join with us in prayer that God will give us favor with these governments and that our passports with the necessary visas will be returned to us in time for our flight on the morning of November 22. Pray also that God will provide all that is lacking to cover our expenses in Africa for food, lodging, and transportation so that we will be a blessing and not a burden on the Believers there.
Please pray also for our dear friend Cathi in South Africa who needs to get her residence visa renewed by December so she can continue her very effective ministry in that nation as she trains laborers for the harvest across that great continent. Pray for great favor for her as she deals with the extraordinary volumes of red tape she faces every time her current visa is set to expire. Thank you in advance for standing with her in this need.
God is continuing to move on Mindanao and our leadership there is preparing for an important conference on November 23 – 25 where the leaders, the pastors, and the chieftains will be coming together to focus on plans for church planting among the tribal people. As the ministry continues to expand, they are seeking God’s heart on where to focus their church planting activities in the coming year even as they gather to praise and thank Him for the many churches that have already been planted this year. Please join us in praying for God’s vision for Mindanao to be confirmed, God’s people to be encouraged, and for God to provide the $600 needed for food and transportation to bring these key leaders together in Dugayan for this conference. We give Him glory in advance for all that He has already done and all that He is going to do in bringing the tribal people of Mindanao to salvation and deliverance in Christ Jesus.
